We had a fantastic time at this event yesterday and wanted to share some of the photographs with you. If you have never visited you must put it in your diary for next year. Templecombe is situated on the A357 in Somerset and the pageant is always well signposted.

ReplyDeleteNot only should we have dressed up we should have signed up! Everyone went out of their way to give all the visitors a really good day. The ‘Battle of Templecombe’ at the end was amazing – battering rams, bows and arrows, cannons that made the crowd jump every time they were fired, and every possible other weapon you can think of. The commentator was really funny – especially as half the combatants couldn’t hear what he was saying so that when they were supposed to retreat they actually went on fighting. Fantastic day!
