  1. Oh, yay! I was staring at the pictures and thinking, 'Man, Barbara really puts in a lot of efforts in designing and printing out each name and its accompanying picture ...) Thanks for hosting this wonderful giveaway, Barbara! I'll check my email early tomorrow cos my eyelids are shutting as I type. Corny as it sounds, I'll be smiling in my sleep tonight.

Congratulations Claudine. Yes, Barb, I like your bowl! The folding looks like it took awhile!

I was really pleased with the bowl – it cost all of £1 from a car boot sale! The folding was quick; it was the printing of the names and then cutting them into neat rectangles that took the time.

That’s exactly the effect I was trying for – sort of building up the excitement! I will get your parcel on the way in the next couple of days. I hope you have a really good sleep and wake up still smiling. Night.

Hi Jess, thanks for calling in and congratulation Claudine. Thank you also for taking the time to enter the giveaway, I’m sorry you weren’t lucky this time. I’m sure to do another giveaway before long so I hope you will try again – someone has to win – and it could be you. I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures.

  10. Your selection process really is a work of art Barbara! I just love your bowl - it reminds me of the kind my granny had - very arts and crafts! I can't believe you only paid £1 for it.

    Congratulations to Claudine!

The bowl is very pretty, but if you look closely you start to notice lots and lots of hairline cracks, hence the low price. It looks lovely in the middle of the dining room table, especially when filled with fruit. I enjoyed the selection process and wanted to show that it was done fairly.

  12. I love how you picked the names! Was that your writing or was it done on a computer? Congratulations to the winner! Even though I'm sad it wasn't me ha-ha :)

Hi Megan, It was all done on the computer. I was looking for an Easter bonnet to put the names in but when I couldn't find one, I had to compromise by using the bowl. It worked OK, and it made it fair for everyone. I’m sure I will do another giveaway before too long – so it could still be you!
