This year's village day turned out to be a ‘Right Royal’ Jubilee celebration. The weather was a bit damp and dreary, but a drop of rain was not about to spoil anyone’s enjoyment. The event opened with a Royal Parade led by the University of Bedfordshire Drum Corps Land of Hope

ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, I love your positive attitude, and you are quite right there was some blue sky. It was a bit cold and windy, but that gave us an excuse to call in at the food tent. Red, white and blue cupcakes never tasted so good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day! I would love to go to a festival like this. Everyone looks like they are having a great time despite the weather. I especially would have enjoyed hearing the bagpipes and band. The pictures add so much and helped me to get a feel for the day. Thanks!
