I hope you enjoyed this ‘snapshot of our weekend'. I took these pictures but if you would like to see how a professional photographer does it visit Terry’s page at Terry Fisher Photography
Oh, Barbara, what great pictures! It looks like it was a quite fun time. I adore Queen Elizabeth, and 60 yrs is something to celebrate! Gosh, it looks like a lot of work went into it for all the entertainment, etc. I hope you had a marvelous time.
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful time, thank you. It was nice to be with happy, smiling (for the most part) people who had fun celebrating together. It’s very easy to take The Queen for granted so it’s good to be reminded of just how fantastic she is.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love these photos- such a different perspective on the whole event. I love the parachute pictures! I also adore all the costumes. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful. A once in a lifetime experience!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun. Taking pictures of clouds was easy - getting the ones of the parachutes was much harder!
ReplyDeleteHello Sally, You never know there could be a platinum jubilee in 10 years time, then we could do it all again! But you’re right it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA little late to the Jubilee post, but had to tell you I love the photos and thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was really lots of fun and I wish I could have been in England for the festivities.
Checked out Terry's photos also and the medival fest looked wonderful.
Amazing photos! I watched it all on TV and wished I was there. It made me remember being in London at this time last year. Wish I could go back!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been to visit lately, I had a little break from blogging!
Hello Alex, it was loads of fun, and we felt very lucky to be part of it. Glad you enjoyed the ‘photos.
ReplyDeleteHello Megan,
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the photos.
The way you feel about London is how we feel about Adelaide!
I understand about the blogging break. I took a few days off over the Jubilee weekend, it was bliss. I will look forward to your posts as/when you get the time.
How amazing. It looks like so much fun! I saw a photo of the Queen and Princess as they watched an event with huge smiles, in USA Today recently. Thank you so much for sharing.
