I fill this cup to one made up of loveliness alone
To dear little Mooie with lots of love and xxxxxxxxxxxxxxfrom ______?
Oh dear! Something went wrong – this post was scheduled for the 13th February but for some reason it’s already posted. Happy (very early) Valentine’s day!
Oooh I'd forgotten about Rene Cloke - her paintings are beautiful and this one is lovely. I googled her to see if I could find some more examples of her work and came across this blog - http://loverforbooks.blogspot.com/ You probably know it already as it seems very popular - it has lovely illustrations and snippets on books.
ReplyDeleteYou find the most amazing things! Isn't that just so precious?
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely beautiful blog thank you for the link. Did you see the picture of the puppy being born? If you click on the last photo it takes you to another beautiful blog. I collect anything by Rene Cloke - books, postcards, painting books, soap dishes! There are about 300 items in my collection including a few original art works. I want to share some of it on the blog, it's just a matter of finding the time.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think so.
ReplyDeleteI was sure you would enjoy that blog as well when I found it - I thought it was really lovely and just had to pass the link on!
ReplyDeleteWell, it will get us all in the mood. So sweet and tender. Loved the pictures too.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about these old postcards - I just love them.
ReplyDeleteI like getting into the spirit early! These postcards are adorable and just so sweet. I especially love the one with the fairies- but I love fairies. Thanks for sharing these. I like the idea of sending Valentine's postcards!
ReplyDeleteSending Valentine’s greetings by postcard does seem to be a thing of the past, it’s a shame.
ReplyDeleteThese are darling! The Love-in-a-Mist card is perfection! I am adding to my pin board!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as though you like the same kind of things as me, I would love to see your pin board!
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable! I LOVE postcards! The first one is particularly sweet, I think. :-))
ReplyDeleteThat’s just the reaction I was hoping for! I love postcards too and it’s great being able to share some of them.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for voting for my blog. Please ask others to do that. I appreciate you took the time to vote.
