Advent Calendar Day 7: Bells

Ding dong merrily on high, In heav'n the bells are ringing: Ding dong! verily the sky Is riv'n with angel singing ding-ding dong Gloria Hosanna in excelsis!

    Why do farmers put bells on cows?
    Because their heir horns don't work....! :).

    Oh! By the way, summat l forgot yesterday...
    How did the Robin get it's Red Breast...???

      I don’t need to look it up Willie, although you may know a different version to me? The story I was told at Sunday school; Jesus was on the road to Calvary a robin plucked a thorn from his temple, and a drop of blood fell on the robin turning its chest red.
      Pilates this morning so I must away.

      I was in the school choir, and this was one of the songs we sang every year so it has a special place in my heart. I’m pretty sure we didn’t sing it anywhere near as well as the boys from Kings College, but we gave it our best shot! Hugs Barbara

    Certainly not the song I was expecting, and definitely not one I've heard before. However, I loved the video and those boys did a fantastic job singing for their ages. Great Day 7 Advent entry.

    Such a Christmassy song & so far this "Bell" has been interesting in the way it is being interpreted. Thanks & take care. BTW, did I really put Seven White Boomers? I was singing it in my head as I typed & certainly was not thinking 7. Sorry. Take care.
