How did the Robin get it's Red Breast...???
(AND..NO! looking it up).
I don’t need to look it up Willie, although you may know a different version to me? The story I was told at Sunday school; Jesus was on the road to Calvary a robin plucked a thorn from his temple, and a drop of blood fell on the robin turning its chest red.

DeleteGood morning dearest Barbara! How beautiful, to hear the tinny, gentle, resounding sound of BELLS. May this song usher in a much better year, a new awakening in the human spirit. Peace to you dear one.
ReplyDeleteHello Anita, my thoughts are with all those people around the world who are suffering in numerous ways at the moment. 2018 just has to be a better year for everyone. Sending hugs your way.
DeleteI used to love that song at school! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI was in the school choir, and this was one of the songs we sang every year so it has a special place in my heart. I’m pretty sure we didn’t sing it anywhere near as well as the boys from Kings College, but we gave it our best shot! Hugs Barbara
DeleteCertainly not the song I was expecting, and definitely not one I've heard before. However, I loved the video and those boys did a fantastic job singing for their ages. Great Day 7 Advent entry.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful singers and I never tire of listening to them.

DeleteSuch a Christmassy song & so far this "Bell" has been interesting in the way it is being interpreted. Thanks & take care. BTW, did I really put Seven White Boomers? I was singing it in my head as I typed & certainly was not thinking 7. Sorry. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt’s easily done – fingers and brain don’t always work in perfect harmony.
