Oh they are darling books! Oh! Poor Amelia Jane! My mother use to read me that almost every night; it looks just the same, only mine burned in a terrible fire at my aunts house one summer. How amazing is it that you are giving it away, I've been looking for it for years.
ReplyDeleteE-mail: abellefleur@verizon.net
Hello there, thanks for entering the giveaway. I can think of nothing worse than a fire in someone's home, how awful. I do hope your aunt wasn't injured. Your name is now in the draw. Good luck.

ReplyDeleteI came here while trying to find a book that I had when I was a kid. I have not found it as cannot remember the title. It was a book full of illustrated stories by various authors. Your blog is wonderful and what a special book you are giving away. Best of luck to everyone. I sure would love to win it too.
ReplyDeleteHello Shashi, thanks for calling in. You are very welcome to enter the giveaway just click on the ‘join this site with Google Friends connect’ button on the right-hand side and leave another comment with a contact email. That’s it all done. I will only contact you via email if you win the giveaway, I’m not asking for emails for any other reason.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your ‘missing’ book you need to try to write down as many details as possible, things like, cloth or paper covering to the boards, picture on the front board, dust jacket, size, any of the stories, was it new when you had it or could it be much older. Try to remember every small detail because things like that really help when trying to find a book. There are lots of book search agents online, or you could send the details to me, and I will try to find it for you. Barbara
Thank you for your reply Barbara. I will write to you with whatever details I can remember of the book.
